The latest survey of the Social Weather Stations revealed that the net satisfaction rating for the Duterte administration’s campaign against illegal drugs remained “very good.”

At least 78 percent of the respondents of the second quarter 2018 SWS poll said they were satisfied with the government’s drug war while 13 percent were dissatisfied and 9 percent were undecided. The government's crackdown on drugs has a net satisfaction rating of +65.
SWS categorized the net satisfaction rating as very good.

The result was three percent above the rating in March 2018 and a point above the +64 net satisfaction rating on the same period last year.

The survey also revealed that the satisfaction with the campaign against illegal drugs is excellent in Mindanao with +84 net satisfaction rating.

In September 2016, the Duterte administration’s campaign illegal drugs recorded a +76 net satisfaction rating, categorized as excellent. It reached record high in December 2017 at +77, also an excellent rating.

It, however, reached the lowest record in September 2017 with a +63 rating.

The survey was conducted from June 27 to 30 with a ±3 percent margin of error. It involved 1,200 adults, 300 each in Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao, who were personally interviewed.
SWS said “the area estimates were weighted by Philippine Statistics Authority medium-population projections for 2018 to obtain the national estimates.”

It clarified that the survey was not commissioned and are done on SWS's own initiative and released as a public service.
