CEBU CITY (Updated) -- A 27-year-old Chinese woman from Hunan province, China, (not Xiamen as earlier reported) has been detained at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) Customs office after 11 packs of shabu were found in her blue trolley bag at 11:30 a.m. July 20.
The suspect was identified as Liming Zhou, a nurse who came from Hunan province, a Filipino-Chinese interpreter said.

Zhou was presented to media around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Bureau of Customs Office at the MCIA.

A Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) K9 unit dog was randomly checking the luggage when the dog sat on the bag, indicating it contains a contraband.
Police Senior Superintendent Ritchie Medardo Posadas, chief of the Aviation Security Unit (Avseu) Central Visayas, said that based initial estimate, the contraband is worth P6.2 million.
Investigators are identifying Zhou's contacts in Cebu.

A Chinese interpreter said Zhou will be fetched by a Filipino contact whom she identified as "Liza."
The woman also told the interpreter that she will be staying in one of the hotel's in Lapu-Lapu City.
Posadas said Zhou reached Cebu via Hong Kong.

She allegedly told authorities she does not own the bag but it was her cousin's friend who gave it to her.

It was also learned that Zhou has been in Cebu three times -- in March, May and July, this year.
Posadas said they will continue to investigate the claims and interview more witnesses.
Authorities are expected to file the corresponding case against the suspect on Thursday, July 21.
